TIK TOK FUN AND DON'T BLOCK THE DRIVEWAY!

I'm sorry I haven't blogged lately, i've been very busy trying to get some publicity and traffic towards my podcast "As We Speak".

In the past, i have written a few blogs about my experiences with Autism and about my bike riding, i sometimes struggle to put together the blog and make it flow nicely. Does anyone out there write blogs? If so, could you give me some tips on what to include in my writing of blogs?

My podcast is now gaining a bit more publicity, with increased followers on facebook , tik tok and instagram.

We are really looking for people to rate our podcast, it really helps the traffic increase the more reviews we get. We have been creating some video content on tik tok, which is a lot of fun and has been a way to gain more publicity for the podcast. Can anyone think of some other ways that we can get more followers?

I am also very excited to tell you that i will be travelling to Sydney, with my producer and mentor Pat O'Donnell. We have a lot for the trip, such as speaking to Autism groups and exploring our long-term goal for a rural mobile "Sensory Room" foundation.

On this trip we are planning to host a luncheon in the CBD at the Blue Eye Dragon, an amazing Taiwanese restaurant, just behind Star City Casino in Pyrmont. The luncheon hopefully will have some guest speakers and we will be networking with other Autism professionals and podcasters.

As a man on the Autism Spectrum, I sometimes find it hard with executive functioning and fail to understand some basic 'cause and effect' scenarios. For instance, the other night I had arrived at my parents house and had lost my key to get in. When they didn't answer the door bell i decided to ring mum on the phone, then realised there was a missed call from her, when looking at the phone. I called her back, she told me they were out and would be back home in around 20-minutes.

I decided to keep warm and sit in my car until they arrived home at around 20 minutes later. They arrived and "pipped" the horn for me to move my car. I had been parked there for the duration and it didn't even "twig" that they couldn't get into the driveway because i was blocking the entrance. I felt like a "Goose", because to the average person this would probably be obvious! Can anyone tell me their thoughts on this scenario? Or, if you are on the spectrum, have you had a situation similar to this? Let me know? Something obvious to others and maybe not to someone on the spectrum.

Thanks for reading! keep in touch with me via my blog and write to me! I want to hear from you. send emails to junst25@hotmail.com I always read them and reply eventually! Justin
